Jolene McGregor

Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) & Member Australian Podiatry Association

Jolene studied at La Trobe University and completed her Bachelor of Podiatry with Honours in 1996.

She worked for 8 years in Sports Medicine and has a keen interest in foot biomechanics and helping patients manage and prevent sports injuries. Her Honours project was focused around the benefit of strapping for the plantar fascia so she has a very thorough understanding of Heel pain and Plantar Fasciitis. She has expertise in helping people to manage this condition.

Jolene also has a keen interest in the Diabetic foot and preventing complications with regular screening and education. She has two children, who are now teenagers, and has extensive knowledge and expertise in helping manage growth related pain in children, such as Severs Disease.

In 2000, Jolene began working alongside physiotherapists at Yarra Valley and Mooroolbark District Physiotherapy in the Chirnside Park. In 2010 she expanded the business and moved the practice to the location now at Mooroolbark Medical Centre.

Jolene believes that patient understanding is crucial in any treatment plan, so she takes great pride in providing comprehensive yet easy to understand explanations of conditions and short and long-term treatment options.

When Jolene is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family at the beach in summer and skiing in winter.
